1996 Rowing Achievements

Represented VLC at the Buffalo Regatta in East London, February, winner of the Grand Challenge Trophy.
Represented VLC at the SA Championships, April, winning three gold medals.
Represented Trident Rowing Club, traveling abroad as part of NOCSA?s Operation Excellence Programme, May/June. Represented South Africa in the Lightweight single scull in Mannheim, Duisberg (Germany), Lucerne (Switzerland).
Selected as Reserve for the South African rowing Team to represent SA at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in June/July.
