You know how PowerLung improves your breathing and now is your chance to show the world. May is National Photo Month and to help get into the spirit, PowerLung is holding a photo contest.

All entries will be entered into a drawing for a Kodak SLICE 14.5-Megapixel digital camera and other prizes as well as be featured on PowerLung.com.

Are you ready to take a shot at the PowerLung “Don’t Hold Your Breath” contest?

It’s easy to enter! Simply send two photos – one action shot of you enjoying your favorite activity and one where you’re holding your PowerLung. It’s your choice – swimming, cycling, running, playing an instrument or simply taking a walk in the park – whatever activity you can now enjoy because of improved breathing.

Photos will be posted to the community page where PowerLung users will also share their experiences using PowerLung and other tips that helped them improve their breathing. The goal is to create a place where ideas can be shared.

 

The photos will be judged independently for “Most Creative”, “Best Action Shot”, and “Best Breathing”. Of the three winners in these categories, a grand prize winner will be selected and win a KODAK SLICE touchscreen 14.5-megapixel digital camera! The two runner ups are also winners and will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card for their entries.

Terms:
Contest begins May 5, 2010, and ends September 30, 2010, at 11pm Central Standard Time (CST). By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that they are 18 years old or older.

Who may enter:
Anyone 18 years old or older—except for individuals affiliated with PowerLung, including employees, and their immediate families (children, siblings and spouses) and others living in their households—are eligible. PowerLung will determine winners’ eligibility.

What to enter:
Simply fill out the contact information on the form below and submit two (2) digital files – one action shot & one product shot. Digital submissions must be no longer than 800 pixels on the longest side and saved as JPEGs (.jpg), in RGB format and not exceed 4MB each file. Do not send originals prints. PowerLung is not responsible for lost or damaged prints.

Entry deadline:
All entries must be received through the PowerLung web site by 11pm Central Time on September 30, 2010.

Judging:
An independent panel of judges will choose the winners in three categories:

  • Most Creative
  • Best Action Shot
  • Best Breathing

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize
    One (1) KODAK SLICE touchscreen 14.5-megapixel digital camera, color black. Retail value: $299.95.
  • Runner-up Prize
    Two (2) Amazon.com $25 gift cards. Retail value: $25.00 each.
